Boukje Elisabeth Eerkens, Psy.D., QME, provides consulting and psychological assessment in private practice. She has worked in intensive inpatient and outpatient settings since 1999 treating depression, anxiety, and PTSD, among other presenting problems. After completing a two year internship at Community Institute of Psychotherapy in 2003, she went on to do post-doctoral training at Alta Bates Hospital Pain and Rehabilitation in addition to starting private practice. She provided intensive team-based psychotherapy at Boyer House Foundation from 2005 to 2007 and worked as Director of Psychological Services and Pain Evaluations for AIFT from 2006 to 2008, where she assisted patients enduring chronic physical injury.

Dr. Eerkens currently serves as a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) for the Department of Industrial Relations, Expert Reviewer for the Board of Psychology, and Consulting Psychologist for the State of California PASRR program. In private practice, she conducts immigration evaluations, qualified/agreed medical examinations, disability assessments, Board of Psychology fitness for duty assessments / expert reviews, and general psychodiagnostic evaluations. Dr. Eerkens is a member of the California Psychological Association (CPA) and holds specialized certificate training in perinatal psychology from Postpartum Support International (PSI).
